Home insurance prices are out of control! Beyond expensive. I tried many of those online free quotes from several companies. They came back with no one to insure me at all. Then I found this insurance agency also on line that deals with so many more insurance companies. As my local agents in Palm Coast FL came back with no one to insure me. No one wanted to insure me because my roof was 19 years old, but in great shape and not needing replacement. Insurance! Got a great rate when insuring my newly purchased golf cart. This would be a reason good enough for me to recommend Oyer, Macoviak and Associates. The thing is, the rate was so good I wanted to see if they could help with my regular auto insurance. They quoted me a good competitive rate from one of the companies they represent for insurance coverage similar to what I already have, but I said no, because I thought the rate wouldn't save me enough money until last night when my wife informed me that we need to call our current auto insurance company because we were just informed that our auto insurance was going to be increasing by hundreds of dollars over 6 months. It could be because we just moved, but the rate Oyer, Macoviak and Associates quoted was already for the new address. I will probably be calling them back if I run into problems getting my current insurance company to get more reasonable with their rates. When I was shopping for car insurance I contacted Ryan Paguaga, Account Executive from the Oyer, Macoviak and Associates Insurance Agency. He was gracious, seemed to care about my needs but then again his job is to sell. They weren’t saving me any money but I signed with this agency because of things he relayed to me. One being their “outstanding” customer service. After I signed I started receiving emails from the owner, Mr. Oyer, Macoviak and Associates. Harvey E. Oyer Jr Inc 1903 S Congress Ave St 350 Boynton Beach, FL 33426. Welcoming me to their agency etc. Newsletters arrive in my inbox boosting their commitment, how they care about their customers etc. Actually just bragging how wonderful they are. I called the salesperson who originally wrote my policy and left him a voicemail about a windshield repair. He forwarded that voicemail to their “customer service” person Christine. She listened to what I described and I sent her a screenshot from AAA’s website stating the poor work by the person who did the job. I found out from a different glass repair center that the resin he used may have been contaminated as well as his poor workmanship. Therefore leaving a milky white spot on clear glass. Christine the “customer service” person at the insurance agency said she didn’t know what to do. That she would speak with her manager and get back to me. She also informed me with conviction about certain windshields that have to be OEM because there are sensors in the glass. There are NO sensors in the glass. She has no idea what she is talking about and therefore misleading people. It took her nine days to get back to me. At this point I’m surprised she did get back to me. She must have had a memory lapse because she suggested I get in touch with the glass people who did the repair and see what they can do. On my initial call to her I said I’ve had two windshields repaired in past years and they were clear. I also told her I wasn’t going back there because of the low level quality of work. Extremely poor service from this agency especially in a time of need. Don’t depend on them because quite simply you can’t depend on them. When I signed up with their salesman for auto insurance he asked me about homeowners insurance. Saying he can save me money. I indicated that approximately 6 weeks earlier I just renewed my policy and paid it in full. I stated that we could address it when it comes up for renewal. If he was sharp he would have wrote it down as a good salesperson would have done. This agency will not be seeing my homeowners insurance or car insurance at renewal time. If I ran my business that way I’d be out of business. There blatant disregard to get back to me in a timely fashion and with pertinent suggestions was useless, very unprofessional. Their own people can make or break them. These people wouldn't be in my employ or they would have zero interaction with customers. I say this because I was in business. Statistics show that when a customer is upset, agitated with a place of business they tell 7-10 people. When a customer is satisfied they may only tell 3-4 people. I'd rather be working with the lower positive number. They can't pay for that positive feedback form of advertising from people; it's priceless. Bottom line they’ve demonstrated that they are not customer oriented as they want people to believe.

I shopped around for auto insurance. I was with Progressive for over 3years with no claims. Progressive premiums almost tripled during that time. Ryan at Oyer Insurance set me up with a Travelers policy. He helped me set up in his office the Travelers App. Two weeks later I bought new cell phone. Ryan invited me back to office when I told him I couldn’t set up the app on new cell. Excellent service!
