As a member of the local business community, I like to keep myself apprised of upcoming events in and around Boynton Beach, Florida. Looking ahead to October, I see quite a few significant events that you won’t want to miss.

October 2: The Boynton Beach Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting for the new Stage Left Theatre on 2nd Avenue. We’re excited to welcome this new cultural showcase to our area and look forward to seeing what their lineup has to offer.
October 2: “Wine Class: Europe: A European Wine Vacation, No Passport Needed.” Sponsored by Total Wine & More of Boynton Beach, this wine-tasting seminar offers a wine trek through Europe guaranteed to send you home with a new appreciation of the fabulous wines of the Continent.
October 8: The Children Service’s Council will host a Non-profit Showcase Luncheon at the Boynton Beach City Library. This event offers a relatively low-cost opportunity for nonprofits to spotlight their organizations’ services to a willingly captive audience.
October 10: John Maxwell’s dynamic Learn to Lead leadership series comes to the Palm Beaches via simulcast at Christ Fellowship Church of Boynton Beach. Reserve your spot in advance.
October 10-19: Oktoberfest 2014 at the American German Club of the Palm Beaches. Taking place outdoors on ten acres, this ticketed event is held rain or shine and includes dancing, entertainment, food, and – of course – beer!
October 17: Don’t miss the monthly meeting of the Boynton Beach Chamber of Commerce Women’s Connection.
October 28: The local Young Professionals Network will host a “Spooktacular” networking event at Roxy’s Rooftop on Clematis Street. Costumes are suggested and admission is free.
